Q: What fits inside this Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Dual Chain Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 44 x 25 x 12 cm, this tote offers a roomy everyday interior. It should comfortably hold essentials such as a long wallet, phone, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, notebook or tablet, and other daily items. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This style features dual chain shoulder straps with leather pads, and the strap drop is approximately 28 cm. That makes it suitable for shoulder carry for most users, while the leather pads help make the chains more comfortable to wear.

Q: What material and finish does this bag have?
A: This bag is crafted in Bottega Veneta’s signature red Intrecciato leather and finished with gunmetal hardware. It is lined in taupe suede and includes internal zip and slip pockets for organisation.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: The bag has a magnetic snap closure. This makes it quick and easy to open and close while still keeping your essentials neatly contained.

Q: Is this bag a good everyday tote?
A: Yes, it works well as an everyday luxury tote thanks to its spacious shape, shoulder straps, and internal pockets. As with many woven leather bags, it is best suited to thoughtful daily use rather than overfilling, which helps preserve the structure and woven finish over time.

Q: How should I care for Intrecciato leather and the suede lining?
A: We recommend gentle handling and storing the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid overloading the bag, and clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Because the lining is suede, it should be kept away from liquids, ink, and dark items that may transfer colour.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This bag is in very good vintage condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, including scuffed corners at the bottom. The interior has pen marks and stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product information and images carefully for the most accurate impression of condition.

Q: Does this item come with any accessories?
A: No, this item is listed with no accessories. If something is not mentioned in the product information, it is not included with the bag.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin label states Italy, which is consistent with Bottega Veneta’s heritage of Italian leather craftsmanship.

Q: What should I look for when buying a vintage Bottega Veneta Intrecciato bag?
A: Buyers often focus on the quality and regularity of the weave, the feel of the leather, the finishing of the hardware, and the overall craftsmanship. For a vintage piece, natural signs of wear are normal, so it is also important to consider corner wear, interior marks, and overall structure when assessing the bag.
