ChanelCC Suede Tassel Camera Bag

Q: What fits inside this Chanel CC Suede Tassel Camera Bag?
A: This is a compact camera-style shoulder bag measuring approximately 18 x 13 x 8 cm. It is best suited to small daily essentials such as a phone, card holder, keys, lipstick, and a few compact personal items. It is not designed for larger items such as a long wallet, tablet, or water bottle.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The bag features a single chain and leather shoulder strap with an approximately 54 cm drop. For most wearers, this length is comfortable on the shoulder and may sit as a short crossbody depending on height and styling preference.

Q: What are the main compartments and closures?
A: This bag has a front flap pocket with CC turn-lock closure and a top zip closure with tassel pull. Inside, it is lined in leather and includes an internal pocket for organising smaller essentials.

Q: What colour and material is this bag?
A: This piece is crafted in light grey quilted suede with gold-tone hardware. As a vintage suede Chanel bag, it has a soft, elegant look with a more delicate finish than grained leather styles.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item includes a serial number tag. Everything included is listed in the product information; if another item is not mentioned there, it is not included.

Q: From what era is this Chanel bag?
A: The serial number begins with 2, which places production in the early 1990s. According to the product data, this bag dates from 1991 to 1994, making it a true vintage Chanel piece.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel suede?
A: Suede should be handled gently and kept away from rain, humidity, oils, and dark fabrics that may transfer colour. Avoid overfilling the bag, store it upright when possible, and keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight. For cleaning, use only very gentle suede-appropriate care and seek a professional specialist for stains or restoration rather than using standard leather creams.

Q: What condition is the bag in?
A: The overall condition is Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use and light discolouration, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. This is consistent with a well-kept vintage item that has been previously loved.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: A Retro Tale carefully vets the authenticity of the items it sells. For this bag, the presence of a serial number tag and a production period consistent with early-1990s Chanel support the vintage profile, but authenticity is always assessed through multiple details rather than one feature alone.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product data, the country of origin is France.
