HermèsTogo Bazar GM Laptop Case, size 16-Inch

Q: Will this Hermès Bazar GM Laptop Case fit a 16-inch laptop?
A: It is designed for up to a 16-inch laptop, but the best way to check is by comparing your device’s closed measurements with the case dimensions of approximately 37.5 x 27.5 cm. Because laptop shapes vary, this style is best suited to slim 16-inch models rather than bulky devices or laptops with hard outer shells.

Q: Is this a padded laptop sleeve?
A: No. This case has a very slim profile and an unlined interior, so it is best for protecting against light surface wear, dust and scratches rather than heavy knocks or drops. Many buyers use this style inside a larger tote, briefcase or travel bag for added protection.

Q: What typically fits inside?
A: It is ideal for a slim laptop, documents, a tablet and other flat daily essentials. Because the design is streamlined, it is not intended for bulkier items such as larger chargers, mice or thick organisers.

Q: Does it have pockets or extra compartments?
A: No. This piece has a clean single-compartment design with a zip closure and no additional interior sections, which keeps the silhouette sleek and minimal.

Q: What is Togo leather like?
A: Togo is Hermès’ grained calf leather, appreciated for its softly structured feel, durability and ability to disguise minor scratches better than smoother leathers. It is a popular choice for everyday use because it balances suppleness with good shape retention.

Q: Can this case also be used as a clutch or document pouch?
A: Yes. The GM format works well not only as a laptop sleeve but also as a refined document holder or oversized clutch for meetings, travel and daily organisation.

Q: How should I care for this Hermès leather case?
A: Keep it away from prolonged sunlight, heat, rain, oils, ink and dark textiles that may transfer colour. If it gets wet, blot it gently with a soft lint-free cloth. Store it flat in a cool, dry place and avoid overfilling so the leather and zip keep their shape nicely.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: This piece is listed in very good condition. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, while the palladium-plated hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with the item, and how is it authenticated?
A: Any included extras will be shown in the product information on this page. For this piece, no additional items are included. The serial number is noted as illegible, which can happen on vintage pieces, but every item at A Retro Tale is still vetted by in-house experts through detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware and brand markings.
