LonginesHydro Conquest 43mm 2022 Full Set Watch

Q: What are the key specifications of this Longines HydroConquest?
A: This is the Longines HydroConquest reference L3.782.3.78.7 from 2022. It features a 43 mm case, a grey sunray dial, a ceramic unidirectional bezel, automatic movement, date display, sapphire crystal, and a stainless steel bracelet with red PVD-coated details.

Q: Is this a suitable watch for swimming or diving?
A: The HydroConquest line is designed as a proper dive watch with 300 m water resistance, a screw-in crown, and a unidirectional bezel. That said, as with any pre-owned watch, we recommend having the seals and water resistance checked before regular swimming or diving use.

Q: How large does the 43 mm HydroConquest wear on the wrist?
A: The 43 mm version has a strong sporty presence and generally suits those who prefer a larger dive watch. This particular bracelet fits a wrist up to 20.5 cm or smaller, so it should work well for many average to larger wrist sizes, though the visual fit will also depend on wrist shape and personal preference.

Q: What movement does this watch use, and how much power reserve should I expect?
A: This model uses a self-winding mechanical movement from Longines with an approximate 72-hour power reserve. In practical terms, it can typically run for about three days when fully wound and not worn.

Q: Does this watch come as a full set?
A: Yes. According to the product information, this watch is offered as a full set and includes the box and outer box. If you would like confirmation of every included item before purchase, feel free to contact us.

Q: What is the condition of this particular watch?
A: This piece is described as like new overall. The internal condition is listed as very good, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches consistent with careful prior handling.

Q: Is the grey dial versatile for everyday wear?
A: Yes. The grey sunray dial is one of the most versatile options in the HydroConquest range, as it shifts nicely in different light and pairs easily with casual, business-casual, and weekend wear. It offers a slightly more understated look than brighter blue or green versions.

Q: Can the bracelet be adjusted for a better fit?
A: Yes. HydroConquest bracelets are designed to be sized by removing links, and the clasp style on this model is intended to provide a secure fit. As with most luxury watches, bracelet sizing is best done carefully by a watchmaker or experienced jeweller to avoid marks or damage.

Q: How should I care for this watch to keep it in excellent condition?
A: We recommend wiping it gently with a soft cloth after wear, especially after exposure to moisture or perspiration, and storing it safely when not in use. Avoid knocks, chemicals, and extreme temperature changes, and service the movement at appropriate intervals to keep it performing well.

Q: How do I know this Longines watch is authentic?
A: At A Retro Tale, every item is carefully inspected for authenticity by specialists. We assess details such as the reference, dial, case, bracelet, finishing, movement-related consistency, and overall construction so you can shop with confidence.
