Louis VuittonEpi Card Holder

Q: What does this Louis Vuitton Epi Card Holder hold?
A: This compact style is designed for cards and other slim essentials. With multiple card slots and a very slim 0.5 cm depth, it works best for a few everyday cards and possibly a folded note or receipt rather than bulky contents.

Q: Will it fit in a pocket or a small bag?
A: Yes. At approximately 11 x 7 x 0.5 cm, it is easy to slip into a coat pocket, trouser pocket, clutch, or mini bag.

Q: Is Epi leather durable for daily use?
A: Yes. Epi leather is known for its textured finish and structured feel, and it is generally more resistant to everyday scuffs than smoother leathers, which makes it a practical choice for regular use.

Q: Can this be used instead of a full wallet?
A: Yes, if you prefer to travel light. It is ideal for a minimalist set-up with cards and a small amount of folded cash, but it is not intended to replace a larger wallet if you carry coins or many receipts.

Q: Is this a vintage Louis Vuitton piece?
A: Yes. This is a vintage Louis Vuitton card holder, which is part of its appeal and may also explain gentle age-related signs of wear.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: This piece is listed in Very Good condition, with light traces of use externally and internally. Please review the photos carefully for the best visual indication of its current condition.

Q: Is the serial number readable?
A: The serial number is listed as illegible on this item. This can happen on vintage Louis Vuitton small leather goods as markings soften with age and use.

Q: What is included with the item?
A: This card holder comes with a box and dust bag. Please see the product information for the full list of what is included with this piece.

Q: How should I care for vintage Epi leather?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and avoid harsh cleaners, soaking, heat, and prolonged direct sunlight. When not in use, store it in its dust bag and avoid overfilling it so the shape stays neat.

Q: Is this item authentic?
A: Yes. As with all pieces sold by A Retro Tale, this item has been authenticated before being offered for sale.
