Louis VuittonMurakami Aurelia MM Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Murakami Aurelia MM Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 37 x 25 x 9 cm, this medium tote is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, notebook and a compact tablet. It is best thought of as a structured everyday tote rather than an oversized carryall. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This Aurelia MM features dual shoulder straps with an approximate handle drop of 22 cm, which is generally comfortable for shoulder carry depending on your frame and outerwear.

Q: What materials and design details does this bag have?
A: This piece is crafted in white Monogram Multicolour canvas with natural leather trim and gold-tone hardware. It also features an exterior flap pocket with buckle detail and a red microfibre lining, giving it the playful, collector-loved look associated with the Murakami era.

Q: Is this part of the Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Multicolore collection?
A: Yes. The Aurelia MM belongs to the Louis Vuitton Murakami family and features the iconic Multicolore Monogram motif, one of the most recognisable collaborative designs from the house’s work with Takashi Murakami.

Q: What does the date code MI0046 mean?
A: The code indicates production in France, and this format corresponds to April 2006. As with Louis Vuitton date codes generally, it helps indicate when and where the bag was made, but it is not a unique serial number on its own.

Q: What condition should I expect from this specific bag?
A: This item is listed in Very Good condition. The exterior shows a small mark on the canvas, minor cracking near the top edge and slight watermarks on the straps. Inside, there is light trace of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. If you would like confirmation of what is included, please refer to the product information for this listing.

Q: How should I care for the canvas and natural leather trim?
A: Store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Avoid overfilling it, keep it away from rain and wet surfaces, and wipe the coated canvas gently with a soft dry cloth. The natural leather trim can develop patina and may show watermarks over time, so it is best to avoid moisture, oils and harsh cleaning products.

Q: Is the Aurelia MM a good everyday vintage tote?
A: Yes, for many collectors it is a practical everyday option because it combines a medium-size silhouette with shoulder straps and a secure, structured feel. It offers enough room for day-to-day essentials while still keeping the distinctive Murakami Multicolore look front and centre.
