CelineSunglasses

Q: What do the size numbers 47 x 24 x 150 mean?
A: These measurements refer to the fit of the sunglasses: 47 mm lens width, 24 mm bridge width, and 150 mm temple length. A good way to judge fit is to compare these numbers with a pair of sunglasses you already wear comfortably.

Q: Are these Céline sunglasses suitable for smaller or medium face shapes?
A: The 47 mm lens width suggests a relatively compact fit, while the 24 mm bridge and 150 mm temples offer a balanced feel. They are often a good option for small to medium face shapes, but the best comparison is always with your current eyewear measurements.

Q: What are these sunglasses made from?
A: This pair features a black acetate frame with dark tinted lenses, three-dot rivet details, and gold-tone Céline branding at the temples. They are also made in Italy.

Q: Do the lenses provide sun protection?
A: Céline sunglasses are generally designed with protective sun lenses, and comparable Céline acetate styles are described as protecting from UVA and UVB. This pair has dark tinted lenses intended for everyday sunwear.

Q: What is the condition of this pre-owned pair?
A: The overall condition is listed as Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: What is included with the sunglasses?
A: This pair comes with a box and dust bag, as listed in the product information.

Q: How should I clean and store acetate sunglasses like these?
A: Clean them gently with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then dry with a soft clean cloth. Avoid alcohol, acetone, and other harsh cleaners. When not in use, keep them stored safely in their case or dust bag to help prevent scratches and preserve the frame shape.

Q: Can the lenses be replaced with prescription lenses?
A: In many cases, yes. Acetate frames can often be fitted with prescription lenses by a qualified optician, provided the frame is still structurally sound. We recommend asking your optician to assess the frame before making any changes.

Q: Are these authentic Céline sunglasses?
A: Yes, A Retro Tale specialises in authenticated luxury vintage and second-hand accessories. This pair is sold as an authentic pre-owned Céline item.

Q: What makes the Céline three-dot detail special?
A: The three-dot detail is one of Céline's recognised eyewear signatures and is often associated with the brand's clean, distinctive design language. On this pair, it adds a subtle house detail to the black acetate frame.
