Q: What size is this Chanel CC Quilted Tote Bag, and what typically fits inside?
A: This bag measures approximately 31 x 27 x 8 cm. It is a practical everyday tote that should comfortably fit essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, and a compact tablet or notebook. Please use the measurements on this page as the best guide to capacity.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The bag has a 40 cm adjustable strap drop, which is generally suitable for shoulder wear, and a 15 cm handle drop for hand or arm carry.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior shows white marks around the bag and scuffed corners. The interior is Very Good with light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This item includes a serial number tag. Everything included with the bag is listed in the product information; if something is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: What does the serial number 1072509 indicate?
A: The bag has the serial number 1072509. Chanel 7-digit serial numbers are associated with vintage production, and a 1-series code is generally dated to around 1989 to 1991. As with all vintage Chanel bags, the serial number is only one part of the authentication picture.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product data, this bag was made in France.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Chanel quilted tote bag?
A: Avoid overloading the bag, prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity, and contact with perfume, makeup, or harsh cleaning products. If the leather gets wet, gently pat it dry rather than rubbing it. For storage, keep it lightly stuffed with tissue paper and store it upright in a protective pouch or dust bag to help preserve its shape.

Q: Are signs of wear like corner scuffing common on vintage Chanel bags?
A: Yes. On vintage quilted Chanel bags, wear to the corners, light surface marks, and small hardware scratches are common signs of age and use. We recommend reviewing all photos carefully so you have a clear understanding of this piece’s present condition.

Q: Does this bag come with an authenticity card or other extras?
A: No authenticity card is listed in the product information for this item. The only included item noted for this bag is the serial number tag.
