Q: What typically fits inside the Christian Dior Trotter Boston Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 32 x 25 x 12 cm, this Boston bag is suited to everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and other compact daily items. It may also fit a small tablet depending on the case, but we recommend checking your own measurements for certainty.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: This specific piece has dual top handles with an approximate handle drop of 12 cm and no shoulder strap listed in the product information. It is best suited to hand carry or carrying in the crook of the arm.

Q: Does it fit a laptop?
A: Most standard laptops are likely to be too large for this bag. It is better suited to smaller daily essentials and possibly a compact tablet or e-reader.

Q: What is the condition of this specific bag?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior shows smaller but visible stains, the interior has light traces of use and a vintage smell, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches and some tarnishing.

Q: Does the bag have any noticeable odour?
A: Yes. The product information notes a vintage smell inside the bag, which can occur with older pieces that have been stored over time.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: No additional items are listed in the product information for this piece. If you would like confirmation before purchase, our team will be happy to help.

Q: Is a serial number provided for this bag?
A: No serial number is listed in the product information for this specific piece. For vintage Dior items, authentication is best judged as a whole, including materials, construction, hardware and overall detailing.

Q: How should I care for vintage Trotter canvas and leather trim?
A: Gently wipe the canvas with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products, soaking or abrasive rubbing. The leather trim should be kept away from prolonged moisture, heat and direct sunlight, and the bag is best stored lightly stuffed in a breathable dust bag or cloth bag to help maintain its shape.

Q: Is this bag authentic?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted by specialists. We assess details such as materials, construction, hardware, logo placement and overall finish so you can shop vintage with confidence.
