Q: What is this Chrome Hearts Silichrome Cross Necklace made from?
A: This vintage piece is made from purple silicone and features a ball chain necklace with a cross pendant and engraved details.

Q: What makes the Silichrome version different from classic Chrome Hearts necklaces?
A: Unlike the brand’s more familiar metal jewellery styles, this Silichrome design uses silicone. That gives it a lighter feel, a softer finish, and a more casual, playful look while keeping the signature Chrome Hearts cross motif.

Q: How long is the necklace?
A: The necklace perimeter is approximately 73 cm. On most people, that creates a longer drop that sits around the upper to mid chest, although the exact fit will vary depending on the wearer.

Q: Is this necklace comfortable for everyday wear?
A: Yes. Silicone necklaces are generally lighter and more flexible than solid metal styles, so they tend to feel easy and comfortable to wear throughout the day.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: It is in very good vintage condition with light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle pre-owned wear.

Q: Does this necklace come with anything?
A: Yes, this item comes with a dust bag. Please refer to the product information for the listed inclusions for this specific piece.

Q: How should I clean and care for a silicone necklace like this?
A: For regular care, wipe it gently with a soft cloth or clean it with mild soap and lukewarm water, then dry it thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh scrubbing, and strong chemicals, especially as this is a vintage item.

Q: Can I wear it in water or while using perfume and lotions?
A: It is best to avoid prolonged water exposure as well as direct contact with perfume, lotions, and other chemicals. Gentle handling will help preserve the colour, finish, and overall condition over time.

Q: Is this necklace authentic?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage pieces, and Chrome Hearts is a brand that is often questioned on the second-hand market. This necklace has been carefully vetted before sale so you can shop with confidence.
