Q: What size is this Fendi Leather Mamma Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 28 cm wide, 22 cm high and 11 cm deep. The strap drop is approximately 24 cm, giving it a comfortable shoulder-bag silhouette.

Q: What fits inside this bag?
A: The Fendi Mamma style is known for being roomier than a classic slim baguette. With these dimensions, it is well suited to daily essentials such as a phone, compact wallet, keys, sunglasses, small cosmetics and other small necessities. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is this bag a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag?
A: This specific piece is designed to be worn on the shoulder. It has a single adjustable shoulder strap, but based on the listed measurements it is not intended as a crossbody style.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: It features a magnetic flap closure, which makes it easy to open and close while helping keep your essentials secure during daily use.

Q: What is the interior like?
A: The bag has a brown fabric lining and one internal zipped pocket, which is useful for smaller items you want to keep separate, such as cards, receipts or keys.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage bag?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good Condition. Externally, there are scuffs on the leather and wear on the corners. The interior is in very good condition with light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin listed for this bag is Italy.

Q: How should I care for vintage leather on this bag?
A: We recommend gentle handling and storage. Wipe the leather with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid overfilling the bag, and keep it away from prolonged heat, moisture and direct sunlight. When not in use, store it in a breathable dust bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain its shape.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Fendi bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, authenticity is a priority. Vintage Fendi bags are typically assessed through a combination of craftsmanship details such as materials, stitching, hardware, lining, branding and interior codes or tags where applicable. As with many vintage pieces, details can vary by era, so authentication is based on the bag as a whole rather than on one feature alone.
