Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Galliera PM?
A: The PM is a practical everyday shoulder bag with a roomy hobo shape. Based on the measurements of approximately 39 x 29 x 11 cm, it will generally fit daily essentials such as a purse, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, and other compact necessities. Please use the measurements on this page to judge the best fit for your needs.

Q: Can this bag be worn comfortably on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The Galliera PM is designed as a shoulder bag and this item has a strap drop of approximately 20 cm, which is suitable for shoulder carry for most users.

Q: Does the Galliera PM have interior organisation?
A: Yes. This model is known for having a spacious interior with useful inner compartments, including a larger pocket and smaller organisational sections for essentials you want to keep easy to reach.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: The Galliera PM typically features an open top with a magnetic-style closure, making it easy to access your belongings while still offering light everyday security.

Q: What does the serial number FL1019 indicate?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes in this format use two letters for the production location and four numbers for the production period. FL indicates France, and 1019 corresponds to the 11th week of 2009. This aligns well with the Made in France origin shown in the product information.

Q: Where is the date code usually found on a Galliera PM?
A: On Galliera PM bags, the date code is commonly found along the seam inside the interior pocket and can be quite faint, especially on pre-owned pieces.

Q: How should I care for Damier Azur canvas and the natural leather trim?
A: Damier Azur is a light coated canvas, so it is best kept away from dark denim, strongly pigmented materials, oils, perfume, and alcohol-based products that may cause transfer or wear. The canvas can be wiped gently with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soapy water. The natural leather trim will gradually develop a darker patina over time; if it gets wet, blot it gently and let it dry naturally. Avoid harsh cleaners or home remedies.

Q: What is the condition of this specific bag?
A: This item is listed in good condition. The exterior shows light traces of use with a mark on the back, the interior has stains and discolouration, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product images carefully for a closer view of the wear.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with no additional included items.

Q: How is authenticity handled for this bag?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage pieces, and this Louis Vuitton bag has been assessed before sale. The date code, construction details, materials, hardware, and overall finish are all important parts of the authentication process for this model.
