Louis VuittonMonogram Berry PM Bag

Q: What size is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Berry PM Bag, and what typically fits inside?
A: This bag measures approximately 33 x 28 x 11 cm, so it works well for daily essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small pouch, and other compact items. It offers more room than a mini bag, but it is not designed as a large work tote. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Is this a shoulder bag or a handheld bag?
A: This style is designed to be carried on the shoulder. The handle drop is approximately 12 cm, which gives it a close, structured shoulder carry rather than a long crossbody fit.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No detachable shoulder strap is listed in the product information for this item. This piece is offered with its fixed handle design only.

Q: What materials is the bag made from?
A: The Berry PM is commonly associated with Louis Vuitton Monogram coated canvas, natural leather trim, gold-tone hardware, and a textile-lined interior. As with many Louis Vuitton bags in Monogram canvas, the leather trim can develop patina and signs of wear over time.

Q: What accessories are included with this bag?
A: This item includes a dust bag, padlock, and clochette with keys. For this specific listing, the product information is the best reference for what is included.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: This bag is listed in very good condition. The exterior has watermarks on the leather corners, the interior shows a light trace of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What does the date code DU4186 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes in this format indicate the place and time of production. DU denotes France, and 4186 corresponds to the 48th week of 2016. As always, a date code helps identify production details but should not be used on its own to confirm authenticity.

Q: Is the Berry PM the same as the Berri PM?
A: Yes, this style is commonly referred to online as the Berri PM. Some retailers and internal catalogues may spell it as Berry PM, but they generally refer to the same Louis Vuitton model family.

Q: Is the Berry PM considered discontinued?
A: It is widely treated on the resale market and in handbag forums as a discontinued Louis Vuitton style, which is one reason it appeals to collectors looking for less commonly seen Monogram shoulder bags.

Q: How should I care for the leather corners and watermarks?
A: The natural leather trim should be handled gently and kept away from rain, oils, and prolonged direct sunlight. For routine care, use a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners. Since this bag already shows watermarks on the leather corners, it is best to store it carefully in a dry place and avoid additional moisture exposure.
