Louis VuittonMonogram Croissant PM Bag

Q: What are the measurements and strap drop for this Croissant PM?
A: This individual piece measures approximately 26 × 14 × 3 cm with a single adjustable shoulder strap around 21 cm drop. Measurements are taken from the bag itself; small variations may occur.

Q: What typically fits inside the Croissant PM?
A: A smartphone, compact wallet or card holder, keys, and a few small cosmetics. Larger items such as a water bottle, long continental wallet, or an iPad mini are unlikely to fit comfortably due to the compact, crescent shape.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody?
A: No. The Croissant PM is designed as a short-shoulder style. The strap adjusts for comfort on the shoulder but is generally too short for crossbody wear on most people.

Q: Is the strap detachable or replaceable?
A: The strap is not designed to be detached. It adjusts via a buckle to fine‑tune the drop, while the attachment points remain fixed to the bag.

Q: What are the materials and interior details?
A: Classic Monogram coated canvas with natural Vachetta leather trim and gold‑toned hardware. The interior is lined in red Alcantara (microfibre) with a slip pocket, and the bag secures with a zip‑top closure.

Q: Where is the date code located and what if it is hard to read?
A: On Croissant PM bags with Alcantara lining, the date code is typically stamped directly on the lining inside the small pocket. With age and use it can fade and become illegible; this is common on vintage pieces. Our team authenticates using multiple factors beyond the code.

Q: Is this a current style from Louis Vuitton?
A: This Monogram canvas Croissant PM is a vintage model from the early 2000s and is no longer produced in this exact configuration. It is sourced via the pre‑owned market.

Q: How should I care for the canvas and Vachetta leather?
A: Wipe the canvas gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry straight away. Avoid alcohol, oils, and harsh cleaners. Vachetta is naturally untreated and will develop a patina; keep it away from rain and potential colour transfer from dark fabrics. Store the bag lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag, away from direct sunlight and heat.

Q: What is included with this listing?

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this item?
A: Every piece is vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and codes. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
