Q: What is Louis Vuitton Vernis leather?
A: Vernis is Louis Vuitton’s glossy, embossed leather with a patent-like finish. It gives the Ana bag its polished shine and structured look, but light shades such as Dune should be handled carefully to help avoid colour transfer.

Q: How can the Louis Vuitton Vernis Ana Dune Bag be carried?
A: This style can be used as a clutch or worn on the shoulder. This item includes a detachable shoulder strap, and the design also features a chain strap for a dressier look. Please refer to the measurements on this page for the listed strap measurement.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 24 × 16 × 5 cm, it is best suited to essentials such as a phone, cardholder or slim wallet, keys, lipstick, and a few small daily items. It is a compact day-to-evening bag rather than a roomy everyday style.

Q: Does the interior have organised storage?
A: Yes. The interior includes one zipped pocket and multiple card slots, which makes it practical for carrying essentials without needing a large wallet.

Q: Is light-coloured Vernis prone to marks or colour transfer?
A: It can be. Light Vernis is known for showing transfer more easily, especially from dark fabrics such as denim. To help preserve the finish, avoid contact with strongly dyed materials and store the bag carefully when not in use.

Q: How should I care for this vintage Vernis bag?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, alcohol-based products, and prolonged direct sunlight. It is best stored in a breathable dust bag, away from dark fabrics, and lightly stuffed to help maintain its shape.

Q: What is the condition of this specific item?
A: It is listed in very good condition. There are visible marks on the exterior, light traces of use inside, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item includes a detachable shoulder strap. Everything included with the bag is shown in the product information on this page.

Q: How do I know this pre-owned Louis Vuitton bag is authentic?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage and second-hand pieces. If you would like extra product information before purchasing, you can always contact customer service for further reassurance.
