Bottega VenetaIntrecciato Suede Small Jodie Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Suede Small Jodie Bag?
A: With dimensions of approximately 36 x 21 x 13 cm, it is roomy enough for a phone, wallet or card holder, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and other everyday essentials. It is a practical day bag, but it is not designed for a laptop or larger bulky items.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The Small Jodie is designed as a soft shoulder bag with a single knotted top handle. It can also be carried by hand or in the crook of the arm, but it is not a crossbody style.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: Yes, this bag features a top zip closure, which helps keep belongings secure. As with many curved hobo-style bags, the opening is not as wide as an open tote, so very large or rigid items may be a little less convenient to access.

Q: Is the Small Jodie considered a practical everyday size?
A: Yes, this is widely considered one of the more practical Jodie sizes because it balances a slouchy silhouette with enough room for daily essentials. It works especially well for day-to-evening use, shopping, lunch meetings and light travel days.

Q: How should I care for beige suede?
A: Suede benefits from gentle handling. Keep it away from rain, oils, perfumes, make-up and rough surfaces, and use a soft suede brush to lift dust and light marks. If it becomes damp, let it dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight, then brush it gently once dry. Store it in its dust bag when not in use.

Q: Will a light suede bag show marks more easily?
A: As with most light-coloured suede, beige can show scuffs, pressure marks and colour transfer more easily than darker or smooth leather finishes. Taking extra care around dark denim, wet surfaces and cosmetics will help preserve its appearance.

Q: What makes the Intrecciato finish special?
A: Intrecciato is Bottega Veneta's signature woven construction and one of the house's most recognisable design codes. On a Jodie, it gives the bag texture, softness and a refined understated look without prominent logos.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: This piece is listed in very good condition. The exterior and interior both show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: This bag includes a dust bag. Included items are listed in the product information on this page, so if a box or authenticity card is not mentioned there, it is not included with this piece.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully reviewed by in-house experts. Materials, construction, hardware, stamps and overall details are assessed so you can shop pre-owned luxury with confidence.
