Q: What fits inside this Chanel Wallet on Chain?
A: The Wallet on Chain is suited to a compact selection of essentials, such as cards, cash, a small set of keys, a lipstick and a phone, depending on its size and case. Internal space is smaller than the external measurements, so phone compatibility cannot be guaranteed. Avoid overfilling the bag or forcing the flap closed.

Q: Can it be worn crossbody or over the shoulder?
A: The Wallet on Chain style is designed for hands-free carrying using its chain strap and can generally be worn crossbody or over the shoulder. How this particular bag sits will depend on your height and build; refer to the listed 62 cm strap measurement when assessing the fit.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

SHIPPING

All orders are insured and trackable. Once your shipment has been issued, a link to our Track & Trace service will be provided where you can track your shipment and check delivery status online.

We ship all orders from Sweden, and when importing to Canada your order may be subject to import duties and sales tax, which will be charged to you upon delivery by the shipping carrier.

These charges are typically collected by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery and are not included in the product price.

RETURNS

A Retro Tale offers 14 days return policy upon receipt of your order.

In order to request a return, please email [email protected] with your order number and state ”return request” in your email. From there, our Customer Support will confirm that your return request has been approved and further instructions will be provided by email.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. It is not described as unworn or pristine.

Q: How should I care for the tweed exterior?
A: Handle the woven surface gently and avoid contact with sharp jewellery or rough surfaces that could catch the threads. Keep the bag away from prolonged sunlight, moisture, perfume and other chemicals. If it gets wet, gently blot it with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth without rubbing. For stains, seek advice from Chanel or a specialist handbag cleaner rather than applying cleaning products at home.

Q: How should I store the bag when it is not in use?
A: Store it upright in a breathable protective pouch, away from direct light and moisture. Wrap the chain in tissue paper to prevent it from pressing against or rubbing the bag, and avoid placing heavy items on top.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France.

Q: Does it come with a box, dust bag or authenticity card?
A: No accompanying accessories are specified in the product information. A box, dust bag or authenticity card should therefore not be assumed to be included. Please contact A Retro Tale to confirm what accompanies this particular bag.
