ChanelMedium Wavy CC Bag

Q: What fits inside the Chanel Medium Wavy CC Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 24 x 17 x 7 cm, it fits everyday essentials such as a phone, a compact wallet or card holder, keys, sunglasses and a few small cosmetics. It is best suited to daily essentials rather than bulkier items like a tablet, large purse or water bottle.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The strap drop is approximately 30 cm, so it is designed primarily to sit comfortably on the shoulder. On most people it will be too short for a true crossbody fit.

Q: Does this bag have pockets and a secure closure?
A: Yes. This piece features a top zip closure and a tonal lining with two internal pockets, making it practical for organising smaller essentials.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: This item comes with its box, dust bag and serial number, as listed in the product information for this piece.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition. There is light wear on the corners, a light trace of use inside, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Is white Chanel leather difficult to maintain?
A: White leather can be more high-maintenance than darker shades because marks, colour transfer and general wear tend to show more easily. It is best to avoid dark denim or heavily dyed fabrics and to handle the bag with clean, dry hands.

Q: How should I care for and store this Chanel bag?
A: Avoid overfilling the bag, wipe it gently with a soft cloth, and keep it away from prolonged sunlight, humidity and moisture. For storage, keep it upright in its dust bag and lightly stuff it to help maintain the shape.

Q: Does the serial number confirm authenticity on its own?
A: A serial number is an important part of Chanel identification, especially on vintage bags, but it should not be relied on by itself. Authenticity is best assessed through the overall construction, leather, stitching, hardware and interior details, which form part of A Retro Tale’s authentication process.

Q: Is this bag a good everyday Chanel option?
A: Yes. The medium size, shoulder strap and zip-top design make it a practical choice for everyday use if you prefer carrying essentials rather than a large tote. As with any light-coloured vintage leather bag, a little extra care will help preserve its appearance.
