Christian DiorDouble Pocket Denim Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Christian Dior Double Pocket Denim Tote Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 35 x 21 x 15 cm, it is well suited to daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a cosmetics pouch, and a small tablet or notebook. It is not the best choice for most standard laptops, so we recommend checking the Measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: The dual rolled handles have an approximate drop of 18 cm. For most people, this makes it comfortable to carry by hand or in the crook of the arm, and it may also sit on the shoulder depending on body frame and what you are wearing.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: Yes. This tote features a zip-top closure, which helps keep the contents more secure than an open-top style. It also has two external flap pockets and one internal pocket for added organisation.

Q: Are the two front pockets functional?
A: Yes, the external flap pockets are practical for slim items you want close at hand, such as receipts, cards, or small essentials. For better security, valuables are best kept inside the main zipped compartment.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage bag?
A: This piece is listed in Very Good condition. The exterior shows light traces of use with small marks in the fabric, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. Gentle wear is normal for a vintage denim and leather piece and adds to its character.

Q: How should I care for a vintage denim and leather Dior bag?
A: For light cleaning, use a soft dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid soaking, scrubbing, or harsh cleaning products. Keep the bag away from prolonged moisture, direct heat, and strong sunlight, and store it lightly stuffed in a breathable dust bag or clean cotton pillowcase to help maintain its shape.

Q: Can denim transfer colour onto clothing or other items?
A: It can. Denim is a dyed fabric, so colour transfer may happen with friction or moisture, especially against light-coloured clothing or surfaces. To help preserve the bag, keep it dry and avoid prolonged rubbing against pale fabrics or delicate leather goods.

Q: Does this item come with a strap, dust bag, box, or authenticity card?
A: The product information for this specific listing states that no additional items are included. If a strap, dust bag, box, or authenticity card is not listed in the product information, it should be assumed not to be included.

Q: Where was this Dior tote made, and is it a vintage style?
A: The made-in label for this piece is Italy, and the listing identifies it as vintage. Jeans Pocket and Diorissimo denim totes are commonly associated with Dior’s early-2000s aesthetic, which is part of what makes this style especially appealing to vintage collectors.

Q: How do you authenticate a vintage Dior bag like this?
A: Authentication is based on the full picture rather than one detail alone. Experts assess the model, materials, stitching, hardware, logo placement, interior markings when present, and whether the construction is consistent with the era. A missing card or absent serial number on an older piece does not automatically mean it is not authentic.
