FendiZucca Tote Bag

Q: What are the dimensions and what typically fits inside?
A: The bag measures approximately 30 × 23 × 14 cm. It comfortably holds daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and a compact umbrella or 500 ml bottle. An A5 notebook fits easily; A4 documents or a 13-inch laptop are generally too large to sit upright and zip securely. Please compare your items to the measurements on this page.

Q: Can this be worn on the shoulder?
A: It features dual rolled leather handles with an approximate drop of 17 cm. Many users can carry it in hand or on the crook of the arm; a slim shoulder carry may be possible for some, depending on build and clothing layers. There is no separate shoulder strap included with this piece.

Q: What is Zucca canvas and how durable is it?
A: Fendi’s Zucca is a jacquard canvas (typically a cotton/polyester blend) woven with the FF motif. It’s known for being robust for everyday use, but like most textiles it isn’t fully waterproof. Try to avoid prolonged rain and heavy abrasion; allow it to dry naturally if it gets damp.

Q: How should I clean and care for the bag?
A: For the canvas, gently brush off dust, then spot clean with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth and mild, pH‑neutral soap if needed. Always test on a discreet area first and avoid soaking. For the leather trim, wipe with a dry cloth and use a quality neutral leather conditioner sparingly. Keep away from harsh chemicals, alcohol wipes and coloured cloths that may transfer dye.

Q: What kind of closure does it have and is it secure?
A: This tote has a zip-around closure that keeps contents secure while providing easy access to the main compartment.

Q: How is authenticity verified and where is the serial/hologram located?
A: Fendi bags typically have an internal serial number on a small leather or fabric tag; later models may include a hologram (mid-2000s) and some more recent pieces use RFID technology. Serial details can fade with age, and their presence alone does not guarantee authenticity. Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully authenticated by our in‑house experts before listing.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under product information. If an item such as a dust bag or authenticity card isn’t listed there, it is not included with this piece.

Q: What is the condition of this specific bag?
A: Very Good overall. The corners and handles show signs of wear; the interior shows light signs of use; and the silver‑tone hardware has scratches and some dullness. Please review all photos to assess the wear that matters most to you.

Q: Any storage tips for maintaining its shape and finish?
A: Store it loosely stuffed with clean, acid‑free paper in a cool, dry place, inside a breathable dust bag. Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity, and avoid hanging the bag by its handles for long periods to prevent stretching.
