Q: What typically fits inside the Goyard Saint Louis PM Tote Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 45 x 27 x 15 cm, the PM works well for daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, sunglasses case, make-up pouch, water bottle, notebook and a light cardigan. A slim 13-inch laptop may fit depending on its sleeve and proportions, but please use the measurements on this page as your guide.

Q: Does the Saint Louis PM close with a zip?
A: No. The Saint Louis PM is known for its open-top design, which makes it easy to access throughout the day, but it offers less closure than a zipped tote.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes, for many people it can be carried on the shoulder as well as in the hand. This piece has dual handles with an approximate handle drop of 18 cm, although the fit will depend on your frame and what you are wearing.

Q: Is the Saint Louis PM structured?
A: No, this model is intentionally lightweight and softly structured. Some slouching is completely normal, and many owners choose to use a lightweight organiser if they want a more defined shape inside.

Q: Is the Saint Louis PM reversible?
A: Yes, the Saint Louis PM is well known for its reversible design. This is one of the signature features of the model and part of what makes it such a practical everyday tote.

Q: What is the detachable pouch for?
A: The removable pouch is ideal for smaller essentials you want to keep close at hand, such as cards, keys, lipstick or receipts. This item includes a detachable pouch.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This piece includes a dust bag and a pouch. Everything included with the bag is listed in the product information on this page.

Q: What condition is this tote in?
A: This bag is in very good condition overall. The exterior and interior show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Goyard Saint Louis PM?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, non-pilling cloth and avoid harsh rubbing, solvents or machine washing. It is best not to overload the bag, and it should be kept away from heat, strong light and damp. When not in use, store it lightly stuffed in its dust bag to help maintain its shape.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is reviewed by specialists using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware and brand markings. We stand behind the authenticity of the pieces we sell.
