HermèsClemence Victoria 35 Weekend Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Hermès Victoria 35?
A: With approximate measurements of 36 x 22 x 17 cm, this size is roomy enough for daily essentials plus extras such as a long wallet, phone, pouch, water bottle, diary or A4 papers, and a light cardigan or small overnight set. It is best suited to everyday use, office carry, or a light weekend rather than extended travel.

Q: Can the Victoria 35 be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The 35 is one of the more shoulder-friendly Victoria sizes, and this bag has an approximate 22 cm drop. It should sit comfortably on the shoulder for many people, especially when not overfilled. A thick coat or a very full bag may make the fit a little snugger.

Q: Is Clemence leather a good choice for everyday use?
A: Yes. Clemence is known for its soft, grained finish and relaxed drape. It tends to be more forgiving of light everyday scratching than many smooth leathers and develops a naturally slouchier look over time. Because it is supple, proper storage helps maintain the bag’s shape.

Q: Does this bag close securely?
A: Yes. This Victoria features a two-way zip closure, which is one of the reasons the model is so popular for commuting and short trips. Inside, there is a herringbone canvas lining with one internal zipped pocket and two slip pockets to help keep smaller items organised.

Q: Is the Victoria 35 suitable for travel or carry-on use?
A: For short trips, yes. The Victoria line is often chosen as a refined travel or weekender style, and the 35 works especially well for a day trip, overnight stay, or as a polished cabin companion. Airline size rules do vary, so it is always best to check your carrier’s current limits before flying.

Q: What does the Hermès date stamp Square P (2012) mean?
A: The Square P stamp indicates that this bag was produced in 2012. On vintage Hermès pieces, the date stamp is one of several details used to identify the production year alongside materials, hardware, and construction details.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: This listing includes a dust bag, padlock, keys, and clochette. For complete included-item details, please refer to the product information for this piece.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage bag?
A: The exterior is rated very good with light traces of use and a little wear to the corners. The interior is also very good with light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Gentle signs of age are normal for a vintage Hermès bag and part of its character.

Q: How should I care for Clemence leather?
A: Store the bag in a dry, temperate place, lightly stuffed to support its shape, and keep it away from prolonged sunlight, heat, moisture, oils, ink, and heavily rubbing dark textiles. If it gets wet, blot it promptly with a soft lint-free cloth. It is best to avoid using unsuitable commercial leather products on Hermès leather goods.
