A: This bag measures 32 cm wide × 23 cm high × 10 cm deep. The 32 in the model name refers to its width in centimetres.

Q: What does Sellier mean, and how does it differ from Retourné?
A: Sellier construction has visible exterior stitching and sharply defined edges, giving the Kelly a structured silhouette. Retourné construction has softer, rounded edges and a more relaxed appearance. This bag is the Sellier version. ([fashionphile.com](https://www.fashionphile.com/blogs/academy/sellier-vs-retourne))

Q: What is Box leather?
A: Box is a smooth, glossy calfskin with a firm feel. It develops a patina over time, although its smooth surface can show scratches. This Kelly is black. ([hermes.com](https://www.hermes.com/us/en/product/cliquetis-bag-H086913CK89/))

Q: When was this bag made, and where?
A: The product information identifies the date stamp as an E within a square, corresponding to 2001. The country of origin is France.

Q: Is Box leather suitable for rain and everyday use?
A: Box leather requires care rather than carefree handling: its smooth surface can show scratches, and leather should be protected from rain. If it gets wet, gently wipe away moisture immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid overloading the bag and give it time to rest between uses. ([hermes.com](https://www.hermes.com/us/en/product/cliquetis-bag-H086913CK89/))

Q: How should I clean and store this Kelly?
A: Hermès advises against commercial leather-care products and recommends professional care by its craftspeople. Store the bag in its dust bag in a dry, temperate place away from direct sunlight and heat, with tissue paper inside to support its shape. Avoid attempting to remove scratches with household products. ([hermes.com](https://www.hermes.com/us/en/content/89726-leathercareinstructions/))
