LoeweAnagram Brooch

Q: What size is the Loewe Anagram Brooch?
A: This brooch measures approximately 5 x 5 cm with a depth of around 0.3 cm. It has a statement look without being oversized, so it works well on a blazer lapel, knitwear or a scarf.

Q: How does the brooch fasten?
A: It features a classic pin closure at the back, designed to secure the brooch to clothing in the traditional way.

Q: What finish does this piece have?
A: This vintage example is presented in gold-tone metal and features Loewe’s signature Anagram motif. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle prior use.

Q: Where can I wear a brooch like this?
A: A brooch of this size is especially easy to style on blazer lapels, coat collars, scarves and structured knitwear. It can also be worn near the neckline of a shirt or jumper for a more modern look.

Q: Is it suitable for delicate fabrics?
A: As with most pin brooches, it is best on sturdier fabrics or reinforced areas such as lapels, seams or folded fabric. On very delicate silk or fine knits, extra care is recommended to avoid stretching or visible pin marks.

Q: What condition is this Loewe Anagram Brooch in?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and shows light surface scratches typical of a vintage jewellery item.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: No additional items are included with this piece. Please refer to the product information on this page for the exact inclusions for this listing.

Q: How should I care for it?
A: To help preserve the finish, keep it away from water, perfume, creams and cosmetics. After wear, wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth and store it separately in a soft pouch or box to help minimise scratches.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Loewe jewellery?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is reviewed by specialists using detailed checks of design, construction, materials and overall consistency. We stand behind the authenticity of the pieces we sell.
