LoeweSmall Hammock Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Loewe Small Hammock Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 25 x 23 x 14 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, wallet, sunglasses, keys, a small cosmetics pouch and other compact items. The shape can feel roomier than expected, but we still recommend comparing the listed measurements with anything larger you plan to carry.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody or on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This piece has dual top handles and a detachable adjustable shoulder strap, so it can be carried by hand or worn on the shoulder and, for many people, crossbody. The handle drop is approximately 10 cm and the strap drop is approximately 49 cm.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: Yes. The detachable shoulder strap is included with this item. Everything included with the bag is shown in the product information; if something is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Is the Small Hammock a good everyday size?
A: Yes, this is a practical everyday size for those who want a bag that feels spacious without becoming too bulky. It works especially well for day-to-day essentials and offers flexible styling thanks to the top handles and removable strap.

Q: Will a laptop fit inside?
A: It is better suited to everyday essentials and smaller flat items rather than most laptops. If you plan to carry a tablet or device, please compare it carefully with the measurements on this page before purchasing.

Q: What material is this bag made from?
A: This item is crafted in beige grained leather with smooth leather trim, finished with gold-tone hardware and a beige canvas lining. It was made in Spain.

Q: How secure is the closure and how is the inside organised?
A: This bag has a clasp closure and a canvas-lined interior with internal pockets to help organise smaller essentials. It is a flexible style rather than a fully zipped tote, so many owners prefer to keep valuables in the internal pockets for added peace of mind.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is listed in very good condition. There are light traces of use, a few minor scratches on the leather, stains on the bottom and some stains on the fabric inside, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for the leather and lining?
A: To help preserve the leather, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, water, oils and cosmetics. Store it loosely stuffed in a soft cloth case when not in use so it keeps its shape, and gently dab it dry with a soft cloth if it gets wet. Because this is a light-coloured pre-owned piece, gentle regular care is especially helpful.
