Louis VuittonDamier Azur Galliera PM Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Galliera PM Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 40 x 29 x 10 cm, the Galliera PM is a roomy everyday shoulder bag. It will comfortably hold daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch and a compact water bottle. It can also fit a small tablet, but it is not ideal for a larger laptop.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: No. This model has a single flat shoulder strap with an approximate drop of 22 cm, so it is designed to sit comfortably on the shoulder rather than be worn crossbody.

Q: Is the Galliera PM secure for daily use?
A: This bag has a magnetic closure and internal pockets, which makes it practical for everyday use and easy access. As it is not a zip-top style, it is best to keep valuables in an inner pocket or pouch for extra organisation.

Q: Does the Damier Azur canvas require extra care?
A: Yes. Damier Azur is a lighter canvas, so it can show colour transfer and signs of wear more easily than darker finishes. It is best to avoid prolonged contact with dark denim, moisture, oils and direct sunlight, and to wipe the canvas gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth when needed.

Q: Will the Vachetta leather change over time?
A: Yes. The natural Vachetta leather trim will gradually darken and develop a honey-toned patina with use and exposure. This is a normal part of ageing for Louis Vuitton bags, and this piece already shows signs of wear on the leather trim consistent with gentle vintage use.

Q: What does the date code FL0140 mean?
A: The date code indicates production in France, and the numeric format corresponds to the 4th week of 2010. Like other Louis Vuitton date codes, it helps identify when and where the bag was made, but it is not a unique serial number.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: The exterior is in very good condition with signs of wear on the Vachetta leather trim. The interior is in good condition with light traces of use, including marks and stains inside. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this item come with any additional items?
A: Please refer to the product information section for included items. For this specific piece, no additional items are listed.

Q: Is the Galliera PM a good choice for everyday use?
A: Yes. Its soft hobo shape, lightweight coated canvas and practical shoulder carry make it a strong everyday option if you want a spacious yet elegant vintage Louis Vuitton bag. If you prefer more structure inside, a slim bag organiser can be helpful.
