Louis VuittonMonogram Keepall 45 Weekend Bag

Q: What fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Keepall 45?
A: The Keepall 45 is a compact weekend bag that typically fits clothing for an overnight or short weekend trip, plus essentials such as a toiletry pouch, chargers, a small pair of shoes, and travel documents. As packing styles vary, please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions of this specific item: 45 x 25 x 20 cm.

Q: Is the Keepall 45 suitable as carry-on luggage?
A: In many cases, yes. The 45 size is generally considered one of the more cabin-friendly Keepall sizes, and this bag measures 45 cm in length. That said, airline rules can differ by carrier, route, and fare type, so it is always best to check your airline’s current cabin baggage allowance before travelling.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No. This listing is for the classic Keepall 45 style, which is designed to be carried by hand. The product information for this item does not include a shoulder strap, and the handle drop is approximately 10 cm.

Q: What is the difference between the Keepall and the Keepall Bandoulière?
A: The main difference is how the bag is carried. A classic Keepall is a handheld travel bag, while a Keepall Bandoulière includes a removable shoulder strap for hands-free wear. This specific bag is the classic Keepall version rather than a Bandoulière model.

Q: Is this bag a good size for a weekend trip?
A: Yes. The Keepall 45 is widely considered a practical choice for overnight stays and light weekend packing. It offers enough room for essentials while remaining more compact and easier to manage than the larger Keepall sizes.

Q: How should I care for vintage Monogram canvas and leather trim?
A: Clean the coated canvas gently with a soft damp cloth if needed, and avoid harsh chemicals, oils, perfumes, and alcohol-based products. The natural leather trim can darken and develop patina over time, which is normal for Louis Vuitton pieces. When not in use, store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.

A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. If something is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Does this Keepall have a serial number or date code?
A: Louis Vuitton vintage bags typically use a date code rather than a traditional serial number. The code can help indicate when and where a bag was made, although its format varies by era. For this specific item, no serial number is provided in the product information.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this item was made in France.
