Louis VuittonMonogram Mini Lucille GM Tote Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lucille GM Tote Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 30 x 30 x 11 cm, it is well suited to daily essentials such as a purse, phone, sunglasses, keys, a cosmetics pouch and a small water bottle. It also works well for a diary or slim tablet. For bulkier items, please compare them with the listed measurements first.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The Lucille GM is the larger tote version of the style, and this piece has dual handles with an approximate 19 cm drop, so it can generally be worn comfortably on the shoulder for everyday use.

Q: Will it fit a laptop?
A: It is better suited to everyday essentials, papers and smaller tech than to a heavy work load. A slim tablet or very compact laptop may fit depending on its exact size, but many 14 to 15 inch laptops will be too snug or uncomfortable. We recommend checking your device against the measurements before buying.

Q: What is Monogram Mini, also known as Mini Lin?
A: Monogram Mini, often called Mini Lin, is Louis Vuitton's lighter textile take on the monogram look. Compared with classic coated canvas, it has a softer and more casual feel while still offering a structured vintage silhouette.

Q: Is the Lucille GM a discontinued model?
A: Yes. The Lucille line is a discontinued Louis Vuitton style from the early 2000s, which is why it is mainly found on the vintage and second-hand market today.

Q: What does the date code SR0014 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes from this era use two letters followed by four numbers. SR indicates production in France, and 0014 corresponds to the 1st week of 2004. As with all Louis Vuitton pieces, a date code helps identify production details but is only one part of authentication.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: Clean the canvas gently with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, oils, perfume or home remedies. Do not overfill the bag, and store it in a breathable dust bag or a well-ventilated space away from direct heat and sunlight. Because this is a light-coloured vintage textile style, it is also best to avoid dark denim and other materials that may transfer colour.

Q: What product information are included with this bag?
A: This listing includes a name tag. If any additional items such as a box, dust bag or other extras are not listed in the product information, they should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What condition details should I know about this specific piece?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition. The exterior shows wear on the corners, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Gentle signs of age are normal for a vintage textile Louis Vuitton bag.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted for authenticity using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware, stamps and date codes. If you would like more information about this specific piece, you are welcome to contact us for further product information.
