MIU MIURhinestone Dangling Earrings

Q: Are these Miu Miu Rhinestone Dangling Earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What are they made from? Are they solid sterling silver?
A: These are Miu Miu fashion jewellery earrings with a silver‑toned finish and clear rhinestone (glass crystal) embellishments. They are not solid sterling silver unless explicitly stated. If you’d like us to confirm any aspect of the composition for this pair, just ask and we’ll verify it against the piece and hallmarks.

Q: Are they for pierced ears and how do they fasten?
A: Yes—this pair features a hook (shepherd’s‑hook) fastening for pierced ears. For added security, you can use small silicone/rubber stoppers on the hooks to keep them in place.

Q: What are the measurements and how do they look when worn?
A: Approximately 6 cm (height) x 2.5 cm (width) x 1.5 cm (depth). With a 6 cm drop they have a statement, shoulder‑skimming look while remaining elegant. If you’d like the exact gram weight or a photo on model for scale, message us and we’ll provide it.

Q: How heavy or comfortable are they?
A: As crystal‑embellished drop earrings, they have a noticeable presence without being overly cumbersome for most wearers. Comfort can vary by ear sensitivity; if you prefer lighter wear, limit prolonged use and add small hook stoppers to distribute movement.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect?
A: Miu Miu fashion jewellery typically bears the MIU MIU signature and often a country of origin mark (Made in Italy). Placement can vary by season and style. Please refer to our close‑up photos to see any stamps present on this pair.

Q: I have sensitive ears—are they nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys and platings may contain nickel. If you have sensitivities, monitor comfort, consider using a clear barrier product at contact points, and avoid moisture. Discontinue wear if irritation occurs and contact us for further guidance.

Q: How should I care for the silver‑tone finish and rhinestones?
A: Keep them dry and avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions, hand sanitiser and cleaning chemicals. After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not soak, use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical dips, as moisture and chemicals can loosen rhinestone settings and dull plating. Store individually in a pouch or their box to prevent scratches.

Q: Can they be repaired or replated if needed?
A: A competent jeweller can usually tighten/reshape hooks, secure stones, or perform light replating on fashion jewellery. Any alteration may affect originality and resale value—ask us if you’d like recommendations for reputable specialists.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return them?
A: These earrings are in Very Good Condition with light signs of careful wear possible unless noted otherwise. This listing includes a box. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
