Bottega VenetaChain Bracelet

Q: What is this bracelet made of?
A: It is crafted in Italy from gold‑plated 925 sterling silver with a classic chain‑link design and a hinged clip fastening in a yellow‑gold tone.

Q: Will it fit my wrist?
A: This bracelet best fits wrists up to approximately 15 cm in circumference and offers minor adjustability for smaller wrists. For a comfortable drape with chain bracelets, measure your wrist and add about 1–2 cm for a snug fit or 2.5–3.5 cm for a looser fit.

Q: Is the size adjustable or can it be resized?
A: You can usually secure the clasp on a shorter link for a closer fit. For a permanent change, a professional jeweller can remove (or sometimes add) links to adjust length. We do not recommend DIY alterations on designer pieces.

Q: Is gold‑plated sterling silver suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Sterling silver is generally well tolerated and often considered hypoallergenic, but sensitivities vary depending on the alloy. If you have a known nickel allergy or very reactive skin, proceed with caution and monitor for any irritation.

Q: Can I shower, swim or work out while wearing it?
A: It’s best to remove gold‑plated jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising. Water, soaps, chlorine and sweat can dull the finish and accelerate wear of the gold plating.

Q: How should I clean and store it?
A: Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wear. When deeper cleaning is needed, use lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive polishes, and harsh dips. Store separately in a soft pouch, away from direct heat and light.

Q: Will the gold plating rub off over time?
A: All gold plating will gradually wear with everyday use, especially in high‑friction areas (against other bracelets, watches, or at the clasp). Longevity depends on the plating thickness and how you care for it. Re‑plating can usually be done by a professional jeweller if desired.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect?
A: Genuine sterling silver typically carries a 925 mark, and Bottega Veneta pieces also feature the brand signature. Stamp placement and style can vary by season and model.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This listing is sold without additional accessories or packaging unless specifically stated under Accessories. For this piece, Accessories shows no accessories included.
