Q: What are the measurements of this Chanel Wallet on Chain?
A: This bag measures 19 cm wide, 13 cm high and 3 cm deep. The listed strap measurement is 60 cm.

Q: What can I carry inside it?
A: The Wallet on Chain format is best suited to a small selection of essentials, such as cards, cash, slim keys and a lipstick. Its shallow profile makes it less suitable for bulky items or a full-sized wallet. Avoid overfilling it to help preserve its shape.

Q: Will my phone fit inside?
A: Phone fit depends on your handset, its case and the other items you carry. Compare these with the bag’s external measurements of 19 × 13 × 3 cm, remembering that the usable interior is smaller. A particular phone model cannot be guaranteed to fit.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The Wallet on Chain style is commonly worn crossbody or over the shoulder. This example has a listed strap measurement of 60 cm; where it sits will depend on your height and build. Strap adjustability is not specified in the product information.

Q: What colour and material is this bag?
A: This example is black and is identified as the Chanel CC Caviar Wallet on Chain. Caviar refers to Chanel’s textured, grained leather finish. It should still be handled carefully rather than treated as scratch-proof or waterproof.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is graded Very Good Condition. The exterior has light scuffs on the corners, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: The product information dates the serial number beginning with 6 to 2000–2002 and lists France as the country of origin. This makes it a vintage, early-2000s piece.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists an authenticity card and a serial number tag. A box and dust bag are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: How should I care for and store this vintage Chanel bag?
A: Gently remove surface dust with a soft cloth and avoid cleaning products that could damage the finish. Keep it away from prolonged sunlight, heat and moisture. If it gets wet, carefully blot it with an absorbent, lint-free cloth. Store it upright in a protective pouch, with tissue paper covering the chain to prevent it pressing against the leather.
