Q: What size is this Chanel CC Choco Bar Chain Tote Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 30 cm wide, 23 cm high, and 10 cm deep, with a handle drop of 26 cm. It is a practical medium tote size for everyday use while still keeping a structured silhouette.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With its medium tote proportions, it should comfortably fit daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetic pouch, and a compact tablet or notebook. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate sizing before purchase.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes, the chain handles have an approximate drop of 26 cm, which generally allows this style to sit comfortably on the shoulder for most users. Fit can vary slightly depending on frame and outerwear.

Q: What is the Chanel Choco Bar design?
A: The Choco Bar, also known as Chocolate Bar, is a vintage Chanel design recognised for its square quilted pattern rather than the classic diamond quilting. It is especially appreciated by collectors for its distinctive early-2000s Chanel look.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This piece is listed in very good condition. The exterior shows corner wear and light scratches, the interior is in very good condition with a damaged serial sticker, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As a vintage item, gentle signs of prior use are to be expected.

Q: Does an illegible or damaged serial sticker automatically mean the bag is not authentic?
A: No, not necessarily. On vintage Chanel bags, serial stickers can become worn or damaged with age and use. Authentication should always be based on the bag as a whole, including construction, hardware, stitching, finishing details, and provenance, rather than the sticker alone.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: According to the product information, this bag comes with a dust bag and a serial number tag. If an item is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin label states France.

Q: How should I care for and store this vintage Chanel bag?
A: To preserve its condition, store it upright in its dust bag, keep it away from prolonged sunlight, moisture, and heat, and avoid harsh cleaning products. A soft cloth is best for gentle surface care, and the bag should be handled carefully to help minimise further scratches or corner wear.

Q: Is this a good everyday Chanel tote option?
A: Yes, if you want a vintage Chanel tote with a more understated and practical shape than a flap bag, this style works well for everyday use. The medium dimensions, shoulder-friendly chain handles, and classic black colour make it an easy option for both day and evening wear.
