Q: What material and colour is this Chanel CC Patent Flap Bag?
A: This bag has a black patent leather exterior with a glossy finish.

Q: What are the bag’s measurements?
A: It measures 22 cm wide, 20 cm high and 9 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 12 cm.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Its dimensions suggest space for small essentials such as a phone, compact purse, keys and lipstick. Actual capacity depends on the interior layout and the size of your belongings; check the measurements against your essentials and avoid overfilling.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The product information lists a 12 cm handle measurement but does not specify a shoulder strap or strap length. Crossbody suitability is therefore not confirmed; please contact A Retro Tale if this is important to you.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is in good condition. The exterior has light creasing, scratches and marks on the patent leather, with small red marks on the handle. The interior shows light signs of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does it come with a dust bag, box or authenticity card?
A: No accessories are included, according to the product information. A dust bag, box and authenticity card are therefore not included.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country-of-origin label states France.

Q: Is Chanel patent leather resistant to wear?
A: Despite its glossy coating, patent leather is delicate and should not be treated as scratch-proof. Handle it gently and avoid repeated friction or prolonged contact with differently coloured materials. This particular bag already has the light creasing, scratches and marks described in its condition information.

Q: How should I clean the patent leather?
A: Gently wipe the surface with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid cleaning products that could alter the glossy finish. If the bag gets wet, carefully blot it dry with an absorbent, lint-free cloth. For persistent marks, seek advice from Chanel or a leather-care specialist rather than attempting aggressive cleaning.

Q: How should I store this bag?
A: Store it upright in a protective pouch, away from prolonged sunlight and moisture. Protect the handle and any hardware from pressing against the leather, and avoid prolonged contact with other coloured materials. A storage pouch would need to be supplied separately, as none is included.
