ChanelTrainon Flap Bag

Q: What size is this bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 24 x 19 x 12 cm. It offers a structured flap-bag silhouette with enough room for day-to-evening essentials while still feeling compact and polished.

Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel flap bag?
A: Based on the measurements, it should comfortably hold a phone, small purse or cardholder, keys, sunglasses and a few beauty essentials. As with most vintage flap bags, bulkier items can affect how neatly the flap closes, so please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can it be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The interwoven chain and leather strap is listed at 29/54 cm. That generally makes it suitable for shoulder wear, and it may also work crossbody depending on your height and preferred fit.

Q: Does it have any inside pockets?
A: Yes. It has a tonal fabric lining with one internal zip pocket, which is useful for slimmer essentials you want to keep separate.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: It is listed in good condition. The exterior shows visible signs of wear, including discolouration and rubbing on the leather, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with a dust bag and serial number. If something is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: What does the serial number tell me?
A: The serial number begins with 17, which corresponds to a production period of 2012 to 2013. As with Chanel bags generally, the serial number helps date the bag, but authentication should always consider the full construction and details rather than the sticker alone.

Q: Is this bag made in France?
A: Yes. The country of origin listed for this piece is France.

Q: How should I care for this beige vintage leather bag?
A: Light-coloured leather can show rubbing and colour transfer more easily, so avoid prolonged contact with dark denim or heavily dyed fabrics. Do not overfill the bag, keep it away from prolonged sunlight and moisture, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth, and store it in its dust bag with light stuffing to help maintain its shape.
