Q: What are the key details of this handkerchief?
A: This vintage Christian Dior handkerchief is made from white silk with a floral print and finished with rolled edges. The country of origin label states Italy.

Q: What condition is it in?
A: It is described as being in Very Good condition with light traces of use. As a vintage silk piece, gentle signs of age and handling can be normal and part of its character.

Q: Can it be styled in different ways?
A: Yes. A silk handkerchief like this can be worn as a neck tie, hair tie, wrist accent, bag tie or pocket square, depending on its measurements and the look you want to create. Floral silk designs are especially easy to dress up or down.

Q: Is it suitable as a pocket square?
A: Yes, many vintage silk handkerchiefs are also worn as pocket squares. The final fold and coverage will depend on the size of the piece, so please check the Measurements section if available or contact us for more product information.

Q: How should I care for vintage silk?
A: Handle it gently and avoid spraying perfume, hairspray or other products directly onto the fabric. For cleaning, a specialist dry cleaner experienced with delicate silk is usually the safest option. Store it flat or lightly folded away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.

Q: What do rolled edges mean?
A: Rolled edges are a refined finishing detail commonly associated with quality silk scarves and handkerchiefs. They help give the piece a polished look and are a classic feature on luxury silk designs.

Q: Does it come with any extras?
A: No. This item is listed with no extras included, so there is no box, dust bag or authenticity card noted for this piece.

Q: Is this item authentic?
A: Yes. Every item sold by A Retro Tale is carefully authenticated by in-house experts, with checks based on materials, finishing details, branding and overall construction.

Q: Is this a one-off vintage piece?
A: Yes. As a vintage second-hand Dior item, this exact handkerchief is a one-off piece, and the listing shows a stock quantity of one.
