FendiBaguette Soft Trunk Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Fendi Baguette Soft Trunk?
A: With approximate dimensions of 20 × 12 × 6.5 cm, it’s designed for essentials: a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), compact wallet or cardholder, keys, lipstick, AirPods, slim sunglasses in a soft case, and a small passport‑sized notebook. A5 documents and full‑size tablets generally won’t fit flat; compact e‑readers may fit depending on case thickness. Please refer to the Measurements on this page or ask us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody and is the strap adjustable?
A: Yes—this bag includes a detachable, adjustable fabric shoulder strap for shoulder or crossbody wear. The listed strap drop is up to approximately 70 cm, offering comfortable crossbody carry for most wearers. There’s also a single top handle (approx. 5 cm drop) for hand or crook‑of‑arm carry.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: The bag features a magnetic flap closure with the iconic FF buckle for quick, secure access. Inside you’ll find a single main compartment with built‑in card slots for small essentials. Our listing photos show the exact configuration for this piece—feel free to contact us for additional close‑ups or measurements.

Q: What materials and hardware does this specific item have?
A: This piece is crafted in black leather with an FF motif, finished with silver‑tone hardware. The interior is lined in black suede and includes card slots. It is labelled Made in Italy.

Q: Is the Baguette Soft Trunk unisex?
A: Absolutely. The compact, structured silhouette and adjustable strap make it a versatile crossbody that suits any gender and transitions easily from day to evening.

Q: Will the magnetic clasp affect my bank cards or electronics?
A: The clasp uses a small magnet that is generally fine for everyday use. As a precaution with older magnetic‑stripe cards, store them in the interior card slots or a separate cardholder and avoid pressing the card directly against the magnet for prolonged periods. Contactless chips and smartphones are typically unaffected.

Q: How should I care for the leather, suede lining and hardware?
A: Keep the bag away from moisture and colour‑transfer risks (e.g., dark denim). Wipe the leather gently with a soft, dry cloth and use a high‑quality neutral leather conditioner very sparingly after testing on a discreet spot. For suede, brush lightly with a clean suede brush and avoid liquids. Store upright, lightly stuffed, in a breathable dust bag; keep the strap and hardware from rubbing the leather by padding with soft cloth to minimise hairline scratches.

Q: Is this style currently produced?
A: Fendi continues to release Baguette variations, and the Soft Trunk format appears in recent collections in different materials and colours. Availability of specific configurations (like this black FF‑motif edition) varies by season; the pre‑loved market is the best way to find particular versions.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes, and how is authenticity handled?
A: Authentic Fendi bags typically feature interior brand stamps (e.g., “FENDI Roma” and country of origin) and may include a serial/production code or, in more recent pieces, an embedded RFID/QR technology. Code placement and format vary by era and model. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, serial/RFID and overall construction.

Q: What accessories are included with this item and what is the condition?
A: Included accessories for this piece are listed under “Accessories” (for this listing: detachable shoulder strap). This item is in Very Good condition with light traces of use; the hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please review our detailed photos and condition notes for a closer look.
