Q: What typically fits inside the Hermès Bean H Long Wallet?
A: This slim long wallet is designed for everyday essentials such as notes, cards, receipts and coins. With measurements of approximately 17.5 x 9 x 1.5 cm, it works best when kept neatly packed rather than overfilled.

Q: How is the interior organised?
A: The wallet features tonal leather lining with one zip pocket, five card slots and four slip pockets, making it easy to separate notes, receipts and smaller essentials.

Q: Does it have a coin compartment?
A: Yes. There is one interior zip pocket that is ideal for coins or other very small items you want to keep secure.

Q: Is this wallet suitable for everyday use?
A: Yes. The long, flat format is practical for daily organisation, especially if you prefer a classic full-length wallet over a compact style. As with most slim wallets, it keeps its shape best when not stuffed too full.

Q: What does the serial number Square I (2005) mean?
A: Square I corresponds to 2005 production, so this is a vintage Hermès piece from that year.

Q: What is the condition of this wallet?
A: The overall condition is Very Good. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with visible scratches.

Q: What colour and hardware finish does this item have?
A: This piece is crafted in gold leather with silver-tone hardware, creating a refined contrast.

Q: What is included with the wallet?
A: This item comes with a box. Everything included is listed in the product information; if something is not mentioned there, it is not included.

Q: How should I care for vintage Hermès leather?
A: Handle it gently and keep it away from prolonged heat, direct sunlight, water, oils, ink and high humidity. Store it in a dry place and avoid overfilling it so the leather and shape stay in the best possible condition.

Q: How do you authenticate this wallet?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by in-house experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware, stamps and overall craftsmanship.
