Q: What does size 90 mean?
A: Hermès belts are sized in centimetres. A size 90 belt is generally intended for someone whose waist measures around 90 cm at the point where they normally wear the belt. As fit can vary depending on styling and where you wear it, we recommend comparing with a belt you already own.

Q: What width is this belt?
A: According to the product information, this belt is approximately 1.3 cm wide, giving it a slim and refined look that works well for both everyday and dressier outfits.

Q: Is this belt suitable for men or women?
A: Yes. The product information lists this piece as unisex, so it can be styled by anyone who likes the size and proportions.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: Is this Hermès belt reversible?
A: Yes. This is a reversible Hermès belt, designed to be worn on either side for versatile styling. You can rotate the strap to show the side you prefer.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: This belt is listed in very good condition with light traces of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle previous wear.

Q: Does this item come with a box, dust bag or other extras?

Q: How should I care for a Hermès leather belt?
A: To help preserve the leather, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, heat and humidity. If the belt gets damp, gently blot it with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally away from radiators or strong heat. Store it flat or loosely rolled in a dry place when not in use.

Q: Can a Hermès belt be repaired or serviced?
A: Hermès does offer after-sales care and repair services for leather goods in many cases. Availability depends on the item and the service required, but professional servicing can be worth exploring if the belt ever needs attention in the future.

Q: How do you authenticate this belt?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully reviewed for authenticity by experienced specialists. For pre-owned Hermès belts, key points typically include the quality of the leather, construction, stamp details, hardware finish and overall craftsmanship.
