HermèsEvercolor Tablet Case, size 12-Inch

Q: Which tablets does this 12-inch sleeve fit?
A: With exterior measurements of approximately 29 × 20 × 1 cm, it suits tablets up to around 28.5 × 19.5 × 0.8 cm. Many 11–12.4 inch models fit when used bare or with a slim shell. Larger 12.9-inch tablets are typically wider than 20 cm and may not fit. Please measure your device (and any cover) to be sure.

Q: Will an iPad Pro 12.9 fit inside?
A: The iPad Pro 12.9 is about 28.1 × 21.5 cm, so its width generally exceeds the sleeve’s shorter side (20 cm). It is likely too wide, especially once a case or keyboard is attached.

Q: Can I use this with a keyboard folio or Magic Keyboard?
A: The sleeve is slim and best for a tablet used bare or with a very thin cover. Keyboard folios often add both thickness and width; if your setup exceeds roughly 19.5 cm in width or about 0.8 cm in thickness, the fit will be tight or not possible.

Q: Does it protect against drops and rain?
A: It offers elegant surface protection against scratches and light bumps, but it is not a rigid or drop-proof case and is not waterproof. Keep leather away from water, heat and prolonged intense light; if it gets wet, blot gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and allow it to dry naturally.

Q: What is Evercolor leather like?
A: Evercolor is a fine-grained, pressed calfskin known for a soft hand, vibrant colours and a refined, even grain. It holds its shape well and tends to resist light, superficial marks better than very smooth leathers, though care is still recommended to avoid abrasion.

Q: How should I care for this leather sleeve?
A: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth only; avoid oils, solvents and commercial cleaners. Protect from water and prolonged sunlight or heat to preserve colour. When storing, keep it in its dust bag or box in a temperate, dry place, zip closed, and lightly stuff with tissue to maintain shape. Avoid anti-humidity sachets and avoid repeated rubbing against raw or dark textiles on lighter leathers to minimise colour transfer onto the leather.

Q: Will A4 documents fit?
A: A4 paper measures 21 × 29.7 cm. Because the sleeve’s shorter side is about 20 cm, full A4 sheets will not fit flat inside when zipped.

Q: Is the canvas lining safe for my screen?
A: The interior is a soft herringbone canvas designed for everyday use. As with any sleeve, fine grit or sand can scratch a screen, so keep the lining clean and consider using a screen protector if you frequently slide the device in and out.

Q: What compartments and accessories are included?
A: This is a single-compartment, zip-around sleeve without a strap. For this specific item, the included accessories are a box and dust bag; anything included is listed under Accessories on this page.

Q: What does the stamp “no shape D (2019)” mean?
A: Hermès uses discreet year stamps. A letter D with no surrounding shape is consistent with 2019 production. Stamp style and placement vary by model and era; our experts authenticate every piece using multiple criteria beyond the year stamp.
