Q: What are the dimensions of this Louis Vuitton Portobello Messenger Bag?
A: This bag measures 26 cm in height, 16 cm in width and 4.5 cm in depth, according to the product information for this specific piece.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Its slim proportions make it best suited to small everyday essentials, such as a phone, a compact wallet and keys. Fit depends on the size of your belongings and how you pack them; compare them with the listed measurements before purchasing.

Q: Is the strap adjustable, and can the bag be worn crossbody?
A: Yes, this bag has an adjustable strap with a listed measurement of 50 cm. The Portobello Messenger is designed for crossbody wear, although its position and comfort will depend on your height, build and strap adjustment. The product information does not specify the full adjustment range.

Q: Is Damier Ebene canvas or leather?
A: Damier Ebene is Louis Vuitton’s brown chequered coated canvas, rather than an all-leather material. This Portobello Messenger features the signature canvas exterior.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light signs of use, the interior has a stain on the lining, and the hardware remains shiny with some scratches.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are included with this piece, as stated in the product information.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin listed for this specific bag is France.

Q: How should I clean the Damier Ebene canvas?
A: Louis Vuitton recommends gentle cleaning with a soft, damp cloth and slightly soapy water, avoiding printed details. Do not use leather lotions, oils, solvents or harsh cleaners on the canvas, and avoid rubbing it against rough surfaces.

Q: Can I clean the stain on the lining myself?
A: The lining stain is part of this bag’s recorded condition. Its cause and the exact lining material are not specified, so do not assume it can be removed. Ask Louis Vuitton or a specialist handbag-care service for advice before attempting stain treatment.
