Louis VuittonMonogram Carry It Bag

Q: What can the Carry It hold day to day?
A: With approximate measurements of 36 × 37 × 3.5 cm, it comfortably fits A4 documents, a tablet, a 13-inch laptop in a slim sleeve, a wallet, phone and small make-up pouch. Because the profile is slim, bulky items like thick water bottles or chunky jumpers may reduce comfort and shape.

Q: Will my 15-inch laptop fit?
A: Many 15-inch laptops can fit due to the 36 cm width and 37 cm height, but it may be a snug fit and is best inserted vertically or diagonally in a slim sleeve. For daily commuting with a 15-inch device, check your laptop’s exact dimensions against the measurements on this page.

Q: Does this model have a zip closure?
A: The Carry It was produced in editions with a full top zip as well as open-top configurations. This specific item is listed in our product information as open top and includes a detachable zipped pouch for valuables. Please review the photos to see the exact closure of this piece.

Q: Is the pouch detachable and usable on its own?
A: Yes. The Carry It includes a detachable zipped pouch attached by a leather strap. It’s handy for cards, keys and a smartphone, and can be used separately as a small clutch or organiser inside other bags.

Q: How does it carry on the shoulder?
A: The dual flat Vachetta leather straps have an approximate 33 cm shoulder drop, which sits comfortably on the shoulder and over light outerwear. The flat profile helps distribute weight, but as with all slim totes, avoid overloading for best comfort.

Q: Is the Monogram canvas rainproof?
A: Louis Vuitton’s coated Monogram canvas is hard-wearing and generally water-resistant, so light rain on the canvas is usually fine. However, the natural Vachetta leather trim and handles are untreated and can darken or spot with water. If caught in rain, wipe gently and allow to dry away from heat sources.

Q: What care do you recommend for the leather and lining?
A: For Vachetta leather, avoid oils, alcohol-based cleaners and prolonged sunlight or moisture. Let the natural patina develop over time. For canvas, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Store the bag lightly filled in its dust bag in a cool, ventilated place—avoid overpacking to preserve shape.

Q: Is it suitable as an under-seat personal item or carry-on?
A: The slim, lightweight shape makes it a practical travel tote and it has been used as a carry-on by many owners. Airline rules differ, so please check your carrier’s current size policy, but the flat profile generally slides easily under the seat with essentials inside.

Q: What does the date code FL0270 mean?
A: FL indicates manufacture in France. The code 0270 follows Louis Vuitton’s 2007–early 2021 format, where the 1st and 3rd digits show the week and the 2nd and 4th show the year. FL0270 corresponds to the 7th week of 2020, made in France.

Q: What is included with this item?
