Louis VuittonMonogram Keepall 60 Weekend Bag

Q: What are the measurements of this Louis Vuitton Monogram Keepall 60?
A: This bag measures approximately 60 cm wide × 35 cm high × 26 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 7 cm. The 60 in the model name refers to its approximate width in centimetres.

Q: What can I fit inside the Keepall 60?
A: Its spacious weekend-bag format can accommodate several outfits, a pair of shoes, a toiletry bag and other travel essentials. The amount you can pack depends on the bulk of your belongings and how you organise them. Avoid overpacking to help preserve the bag’s shape.

Q: Can I use this Keepall 60 as cabin baggage?
A: Do not assume it will be accepted as cabin baggage. Its listed dimensions exceed British Airways’ cabin-bag allowance of 56 × 45 × 25 cm, for example. Check your airline’s current size and weight limits before travelling, and be prepared for the bag to require checking into the hold.

Q: Is the Monogram exterior leather?
A: The signature Monogram exterior is coated canvas rather than leather. It is complemented by vachetta leather handles and trim, which develop a darker patina over time.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is rated Good Condition. The vachetta leather has a visible patina, watermarks, darkening and signs of wear on the handles and trim. The interior is in good condition with light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is listed in the product information. This item is described as a Keepall 60 rather than a Keepall Bandoulière, so it should be considered a handheld bag. If shoulder carrying is essential, ask for confirmation before purchasing.

Q: What accessories are included, and what is a poignet?
A: The product information lists a poignet: a leather handle keeper that holds the two handles together. A padlock, keys, luggage tag, dust bag and box are not listed, so their inclusion should not be assumed.

Q: Is the darkening on the vachetta leather normal?
A: Vachetta naturally develops an amber-toned patina with age and use. This bag also has documented watermarks and wear, which are separate from the natural colour change. These visible characteristics form part of its stated pre-owned condition.

Q: How should I clean and store this vintage Keepall?
A: Gently wipe the coated canvas with a soft, damp cloth and slightly soapy water, keeping moisture away from the vachetta trim. Avoid oils, alcohol-based products, leather lotions and harsh cleaners. If the leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free cloth. Store the bag in a breathable cover in a ventilated place away from heat and direct sunlight; a storage cover is not listed as included.
