Q: What does PM mean in Louis Vuitton Reporter PM?
A: PM generally stands for Petit Modèle, meaning the smaller size within the Reporter line. It is the more compact everyday option, designed for essentials rather than bulky work items.

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Reporter PM Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 28 x 20 x 14 cm, this bag is well suited to daily essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a passport, toiletries and a small tablet or e-reader. It is not an ideal choice for a laptop or larger work items.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: Yes. The Reporter PM is designed as a shoulder or crossbody style, and this piece has an adjustable strap with a listed strap measurement of 47 cm. The exact fit will vary by height and styling preference.

Q: How is the bag organised?
A: This style is known for practical organisation, with two zip compartments, one internal pocket and a front exterior pocket. It is useful if you prefer to separate everyday essentials and keep smaller items easy to reach.

Q: What is the condition of this specific bag?
A: This bag is listed in good vintage condition. The vachetta leather shows visible patina, watermarks and scuffing on the trim, the inside has light traces of use, and the hardware shows scratches and tarnish.

Q: Are the patina and watermarks on the leather normal?
A: Yes. Louis Vuitton's natural vachetta leather is designed to darken and develop patina over time, and older pieces often show watermarks, marks and colour variation. Many collectors see this ageing as part of the character of a vintage bag.

Q: How should I care for Monogram canvas and vachetta leather?
A: Avoid overfilling the bag, prolonged heat and heavy moisture. Gently wipe the canvas with a soft cloth, blot any water on the natural leather straight away, and avoid harsh chemicals or home treatments. Store it in a breathable fabric bag or other ventilated setting when not in use.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This piece is listed with no additional inclusions. Everything included with the sale is shown in the product information on this page.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted by in-house experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware, stamps and overall consistency. We stand behind the authenticity of the items we sell.
