PradaRhinestone Hair Clip

Q: What hairstyles does this clip suit best?
A: With approximate measurements of 7 × 2.5 cm, it is ideal for sweeping a fringe to the side, securing smaller sections, and half‑up styles. For very thick hair, use it to hold a smaller section or as a decorative accent rather than a full up‑do. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: Will it hold in fine or very thick hair without slipping?
A: It offers a secure hold on most hair types when used on the right amount of hair. For fine or silky hair, lightly texturise the section or backcomb a touch before clipping. For very thick hair, place it over a smaller gathered section or use it to finish a half‑up style. If slipping occurs, position it slightly closer to the scalp where hair is denser.

Q: Can I wear it in the rain, shower, or while applying hairspray or perfume?
A: Avoid exposure to water, steam, hairspray, perfume, lotions, and other chemicals. Moisture and products can dull rhinestones and metal finishes and may weaken adhesives. Put the clip on last, after finishing hair and fragrance, and remove it before bathing or swimming.

Q: How do I clean the rhinestones and resin safely?
A: Wipe gently with a soft, dry, lint‑free cloth after wear. For marks on the resin, use a barely damp cloth with a little mild soap, then dry immediately. Clean around stones with a dry cotton bud. Do not soak, use alcohol or harsh chemicals, or ultrasonic cleaners, as these can damage crystals, foils, and adhesives.

Q: How should I store it to keep it looking its best?
A: Store it separately in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches, away from humidity, direct sunlight, and heat sources. Keep it dry before storing to protect the metal finish and rhinestone brilliance.

Q: Will the rhinestones fall out over time?
A: With gentle use and proper storage, stones remain secure. As this is a vintage piece, adhesives and settings can age; avoid knocks and heavy pressure. If you notice a loose stone, stop wearing it and have a professional re‑secure it.
