Q: What size is this watch?
A: This is the Extra Large model, which offers a more contemporary wrist presence while keeping the slim, elegant Tank profile. As a guide, this reference is approximately 41 x 31 mm and about 8.4 mm thick.

Q: Will the bracelet fit my wrist?
A: The current bracelet perimeter is approximately 18.5 cm. If your wrist is smaller, a watchmaker or Cartier boutique can usually adjust the bracelet by removing links.

Q: Is the Extra Large size right for me?
A: The Extra Large Tank Must is often chosen by buyers who want a stronger wrist presence than the smaller Tank sizes. Because Tank watches are rectangular, they wear differently from round watches, so comparing the measurements with a watch you already wear is the best guide.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: Is this the automatic or quartz Cartier Tank Must?
A: This is the automatic Extra Large version of the Cartier Tank Must, reference WSTA0053. It features a date window at 6 o’clock and is from 2022.

Q: Is this watch suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, it works very well as an everyday dress watch thanks to its slim case and steel bracelet. That said, it is best suited to daily city wear rather than sport or heavy-impact use.

Q: Is it water-resistant?
A: This model is rated to 3 bar, which means it is suitable for light splashes and day-to-day cautionary wear. We would not recommend swimming, showering, or prolonged exposure to water.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: This piece is in very good condition. Please note there are light scratches on the case and bracelet, which is consistent with careful prior wear.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: This watch is listed as a full set and comes with its box. Please refer to the product information section for the listing-specific inclusions supplied with this piece.

Q: What are the main design details of this model?
A: It has a stainless steel case and bracelet, a silvered dial with Roman numerals, blued hands, a blue cabochon crown, and a date window at 6 o’clock. These are the classic Cartier details many buyers look for in the Tank Must line.

Q: How should I care for this watch?
A: We recommend wiping it gently with a soft cloth, keeping the crown fully pushed in, and avoiding knocks, chemicals, heat and moisture. Periodic servicing and water-resistance checks are also advisable for long-term care.
