ChanelCC Flap Bag

Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel CC Flap Bag?
A: The bag measures approximately 22 cm wide, 16 cm high and 7 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 13 cm and the strap measurement is 55 cm.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Based on its compact dimensions, it is best suited to small everyday essentials, such as a phone, cardholder, keys and lipstick. Actual capacity depends on the size of your belongings and the interior layout, so check your phone’s dimensions and avoid overfilling the bag.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: This item is categorised as a shoulder bag, with a listed strap measurement of 55 cm. Crossbody comfort depends on your height, build and preferred bag position; the measurement alone does not guarantee a comfortable crossbody fit. Compare it with a bag you already own or ask for further measurement details before purchasing.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: The bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor wear on the corners and light wear at the strap. The interior is also rated Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This Chanel CC Flap Bag is beige. Its country-of-origin information states France.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag, and the recorded serial number is 30613978. A box, dust bag and separate authenticity card are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate its bags?
A: A Retro Tale’s experts review each item’s construction and details as part of its authentication process, including stitching and handles. The retailer guarantees the authenticity of the items it sells; a serial number alone should not be treated as proof of authenticity.

Q: How can I help prevent colour transfer onto the beige finish?
A: CHANEL recommends avoiding prolonged contact between light and dark colours to minimise colour bleeding. Take particular care when the bag rests against dark clothing, and avoid repeated rubbing against fabrics that may release dye.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Use a soft cloth for gentle surface care and avoid cleaning products that could damage the finish. Protect the bag from prolonged sunlight and moisture; if it gets wet, gently pat it dry with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Store it upright in a protective pouch, with tissue paper shielding the straps from the bag’s surface, and avoid overfilling it. As the material is not specified in the product information, seek specialist advice before using material-specific treatments.
