ChanelCC Suede Tortoise Bag

Q: What material and colour is the Chanel CC Suede Tortoise Bag?
A: This bag has a brown suede exterior and is listed as the Tortoise Tote Bag, Classic variant. Its country of origin is France.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is rated Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior show light traces of use, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs for a closer look at its condition.

Q: What are the bag’s measurements?
A: The bag measures 33 cm wide, 32 cm high and 7 cm deep. These measurements provide a useful guide when comparing it with a bag you already own.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: It is listed as a shoulder bag, with a strap measurement of 40 cm. This measurement is not specified as a strap drop, and crossbody suitability is not confirmed. Please check the photographs and product information to assess how it may sit when worn.

Q: Will this bag fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed. Compare your device’s dimensions, including its sleeve, with the bag’s 33 × 32 × 7 cm measurements. The opening and usable interior space may be smaller than the exterior dimensions, so measurements alone do not guarantee a fit. Avoid overloading the bag.

Q: How should I clean the suede?
A: For light surface dust, gently use a suitable suede brush on completely dry suede. Avoid soaking the material or using standard leather creams and water-based leather cleaners. For stains or more thorough cleaning, seek advice from a CHANEL boutique or a specialist experienced in luxury suede bags before applying any treatment.

Q: Can I use this suede bag in the rain?
A: It is best kept away from rain and prolonged moisture, as suede can develop watermarks. If it gets wet, gently blot it with a clean, absorbent, non-linting cloth without rubbing, then allow it to dry naturally away from direct sunlight and heat.

Q: How should I store the bag when it is not in use?
A: Store it in a breathable dust bag, away from direct sunlight and humidity. Lightly support its shape with tissue paper and avoid placing other items on top of it. Position the strap so that it does not press into or mark the suede.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box or authenticity card?
A: No accompanying items are specified in the product information. A dust bag, box or authenticity card should therefore not be assumed to be included. Please contact A Retro Tale if you need confirmation before purchasing.
