ChanelClassic Medium Double Flap Bag

Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel Classic Medium Double Flap Bag?
A: This bag measures 25.5 cm wide, 16 cm high and 7 cm deep. These are the measurements of this specific pre-owned piece.

Q: What typically fits inside the medium size?
A: The medium Classic Double Flap generally accommodates everyday essentials such as a phone, a compact wallet or cardholder, keys and lipstick. Capacity depends on the size of your belongings, and the internal flap takes up some space. Avoid overfilling or forcing the closure.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The chain strap can be worn doubled for a shorter shoulder carry or extended for a longer shoulder carry. The listed strap measurements are 24/42 cm. Crossbody wear may be possible on some frames, but the bag can sit quite high; comfort depends on your height, build and clothing.

Q: What does double flap mean?
A: Double flap refers to the outer flap and an additional inner flap covering the main compartment. The inner flap provides another layer over your belongings and contributes to the bag's structured construction.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior has light marks and creasing, while the interior shows light traces of use. The hardware is shiny with light scratches. It is a pre-owned piece rather than a new or unworn bag.

Q: What colour is this bag, and where was it made?
A: This specific bag is black, and its country of origin is listed as France.

Q: Is this bag made from lambskin or caviar leather?
A: The leather type is not specified in the supplied product information. Please ask A Retro Tale to confirm the material before purchasing if you have a preference for lambskin or caviar leather.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists a box, dust bag, authenticity card and serial number tag as included with this piece. Do not assume that any additional items are included unless they are listed in the product information.

Q: Is the medium Classic Double Flap suitable for everyday use?
A: It can suit everyday use if you carry a compact selection of essentials, and its size also works for evenings out. If you regularly carry bulky items, check their dimensions against the bag's measurements and allow for the space occupied by the double-flap construction.

Q: How should I care for and store this bag?
A: Avoid overfilling and prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity, and keep it away from perfume, make-up and harsh chemicals. If it gets wet, gently blot it with an absorbent, lint-free cloth rather than rubbing. Store it upright in its dust bag, with tissue paper protecting the chain from pressing against the bag. Ask a Chanel boutique for material-specific cleaning advice.
