Q: What size are these earrings?
A: They measure approximately 3 cm in height, 3 cm in width and 0.5 cm in depth. That gives them a noticeable statement look while still being easy to style for both day and evening wear.

Q: Do vintage Chanel clip-on earrings pinch?
A: Clip-on earrings can feel firmer than pierced styles because they rely on gentle pressure to stay in place. Many people find them comfortable for shorter or occasional wear, but comfort is always personal. If they begin to pinch, it is best to remove them and give your ears a rest.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: Are these earrings suitable for non-pierced ears?
A: Yes. This pair has a clip-on fastening, so it is designed for ears without piercings. If you do have pierced ears, you can still wear clip-ons, but they sit on the lobe rather than passing through it.

Q: What size are these earrings?
A: They measure approximately 3 cm in height, 3 cm in width and 0.5 cm in depth. That gives them a noticeable statement look while still being easy to style for both day and evening wear.

Q: What do they look like in person?
A: This vintage pair features silver-tone hardware, yellow enamel and Chanel’s interlocking CC logo. The bright yellow finish gives them a playful pop of colour against simple outfits, tailoring or occasionwear.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: They are listed in Very Good condition, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and shows light surface scratches consistent with gentle vintage wear.

Q: How should I care for the enamel and metal finish?
A: To help preserve vintage Chanel costume jewellery, apply fragrance, hairspray and make-up before putting the earrings on. Avoid water, soap and other chemicals, then wipe them gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and store them separately in their box or a soft pouch to reduce scratches.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item comes with a box. Everything included with the purchase is shown in the product information on this page.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Chanel earrings?
A: Buyers usually look at a combination of details such as logo proportions, finish quality, clip construction, reverse markings and overall craftsmanship. At A Retro Tale, every item is checked by in-house experts before sale, so you can shop with confidence.
