FendiKarligraphy Patent Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Fendi Karligraphy Patent Bag?
A: This is a compact crossbody style measuring approximately 15 x 16.5 x 5 cm, so it is best suited to small daily essentials such as a phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick, and a few slim personal items. It is ideal for light day-to-evening use rather than carrying bulkier items.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: Yes. This piece has an adjustable strap, with a listed strap measurement of 50 cm, making it suitable for crossbody or shoulder wear depending on your preferred fit and styling.

Q: What are the exact dimensions of this bag?
A: The measurements for this piece are approximately 15 cm in height, 16.5 cm in width, and 5 cm in depth. As with all compact structured bags, the usable interior space will be slightly less than the outer measurements suggest.

Q: What makes the Karligraphy design special?
A: The Karligraphy line is known for its distinctive scripted Fendi motif, based on the Karligraphy logo associated with Karl Lagerfeld’s design legacy for Fendi. It gives the bag a recognisable house signature while keeping the silhouette compact and polished.

Q: What material is this bag made from, and how should I care for it?
A: This bag is crafted in patent leather, which is loved for its glossy finish and dressier look. Patent leather should be stored in a dry place away from heat and direct light, and kept away from rain, oils, solvents, perfumes, and abrasive products. Wipe gently with a soft cloth and avoid friction against dark or colour-shedding fabrics to help preserve the shine.

Q: Is patent leather prone to marks or colour transfer?
A: Patent leather can be more prone to visible surface marks, light scratches, and colour transfer than some matte leathers because of its shiny finish. This is normal wear behaviour for the material, so careful storage and mindful use will help keep it looking its best.

Q: What is the condition of this particular bag?
A: This piece is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows minor marks, the interior has a light trace of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product information for the most accurate condition details for this specific item.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This item includes the original tag. Everything included with the purchase is reflected in the product information; if another item is not listed there, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: How do you authenticate a pre-owned Fendi bag like this one?
A: Authenticity is assessed through a combination of expert checks, including materials, construction quality, stitching, hardware, branding details, and interior markings where applicable. At A Retro Tale, all items are vetted for authenticity before sale, so you can shop pre-owned luxury with confidence.
